Artless craft

This from the BBC:

A sculpture put together out of oil drums, cardboard boxes, cable wheels and adhesive tape has been burned down just two months after its completion.

The £2,000 Sajida Talfah - named after former Iraq leader Saddam Hussein's first wife - was unveiled in February in Holland Park, west London.

Artist Graham Hudson said it was meant to symbolise the war in Iraq.
He didn't say how exactly.

When I saw the report I had to ask myself what kind of artist names his work after one of Saddam Hussein's wives? The answer is tiresomely predictable:- Seventeen has a collection of Graham Hudson's works on show.

If you can get away with selling stuff like this, good luck to you - but you need more money than sense to buy it.
